L'Adapted Jump and Reach : évaluation fidèle de l’impulsion au saut vertical
Faye J. and Falize J.
Summary: Our aim was to measure the centre of gravity of the body in comparison with the positions of reference and, simultaneously, the vertical impulse). Thus, we used the quantitative «cinédynamographique» technique to disclose the movements of the body as well as intervening forces. The speed of our camera and our recorder of the difference of the potential variations as well as the standardisation of the forces platform helped to delimit on the «dynamogramme» the surface representing the integral of the force that is equal to the take-off impulses. The stand-up position, flat foot on the ground, on arm lifted, allowed to measure accurately the real elevation of the centre of gravity. That elevation is different about ± 1 centimetre when compared to the theoretical elevation derived from equation calculation of the movement. The A.J.R. can be considered as faithful test being able to integrate a battery of tests for evaluating basic physical qualities. Key Words : elevation, centre of gravity, position of reference, impulse.
